The Serological Basis of the Correlation between Iron Deficiency Anemia and Thyroid Disorders in Women: A Community Based Study

Objectives: Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA), a global public health problem may have an inimical effect on thyroid function, especially in women and children. This study was conducted to inspect the correlation between IDA disorders of Bangladesh.
 Methods: A cross-sectional among 452 different age groups particular regions Bangladesh presenting anemic symptoms were confirmed after testing serum hemoglobin levels less than 12 g/dL. To identify iron deficiency anemia disorders; samples tested quantitatively through standardized methods considering iron, total iron-binding capacity (TIBC), ferritin, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), free thyroxin (FT4), vitamin D as parameters. Post clinical diagnosis statistical analysis, graphical presentations complex data generated using advanced computer programming language bio-analytical tools. 
 Results: positive hypothyroidism discovered this 24.69% patients with from 0-60 years found suffering simultaneously; highest percentage (38.46%) amongst 31-40 26% iron-deficient females reproductive (15-49 years) hypothyroidism. Moreover, association congenital noticed 50% cases above all.
 Conclusion: Hypothyroidism quite common who previously reported acute chronic due deficiency.
